Glorious goals in soccer

by

Perfect conditions greeted the participants for round 3 soccer action on Saturday.
Cobram Junior Soccer Association Life Members Vince and Pino Ballerini were in agreement that the weather for the start of the season was easily the best since the late 1990s.
The soccer was at the usual high standard and the ability of the players to pass the ball out of defence and set up attacking moves was impressive. The ability to put players into open space with a clever pass was great to see.
The Cobram Junior Soccer Association is thriving with more than 300 players and the parental input continues to be vital.
A big thank you to the referees who officiate every Saturday. They all do an outstanding job and it is great to see so many juniors taking on this role. Everyone appreciates their efforts.
Next week all matches are in Finley. The hospitality is always magnificent and rumour has it that extra sausages have been ordered to cater for the expected crowds.
