It was a beautiful winter’s day on the courts when Tocumwal hosted Mathoura on Saturday.
The Bloods’ A grade continued their unbeaten run with a massive 64 to 16 win.
A strong start by Toc. with all on the court keeping the intensity up for four quarters and were relentless with their defensive pressure down.
The victory was made sweeter with Katrina Chellew celebrating her 200th club and A grade game.

The Bloods remain undefeated and on top of the Picola & District Netball League ladder.
Tocumwal’s B grade bounced back from last week to hand the Timbercutters their first loss of the season, 34 to 32.
Beautiful defence all the way down the court and especially in the ring led to great passages of play.

Toc. C grade also had a fantastic win, downing Mathoura 35 to 23.

The Bloods consolidated third spot on the ladder in C-reserve with a 32 to 16 triumph.
A tremendous effort by all eight players with all sticking to the task at hand.

Tocumwal’s Under 17s made it four wins on the trot with a 37 to 21 win over the visitors.
It was a strong win with the girls showing maturity and playing a consistent four quarters and being rewarded for their strength with a fantastic last quarter.

The Bloods went down in the Under 15s with a tight 24 to 22 loss to Mathoura.
After a slow start Tocumwal fought hard to come back at the end but didn’t quite get over the line.

Tocumwal’s U-13s came painfully close to their second win of the year, having a draw with Mathoura at 23 goals apiece.
It was a fantastic four quarters of netball with perfect down court plays displayed by both sides.

The U-11s continue to impress with plenty of fantastic shooting on display.
