Dance Studio One had success at the Headliners dance competitions in Kyabram at the start of the month.

Dance teacher Chloe Conder along with seven of her dancers competed.

Results are as follows:

Solo events: Gabbie Wade - first in jazz solo, second in song and tap solo and Honorable Mention (HM) in tap solo; Emily Harvey - HM in the jazz solo section; Eliza Atley - HM in the jazz solo; Matilda Dickie - first in jazz solo and second in song and dance solo; Kira Dickie - third in jazz solo and HM in song and dance solo; Zoe Holloway - first in song and dance and third in the jazz solo; Kylah Learmonth - first in song and dance and HM in jazz.

Duo events: Eliza Atley and Gabbie Wade - first in jazz duo; Kira and Matilda Dickie - second in song and dance duo; Zoe Holloway and Kylah Learmonth - third in jazz duo.

Dance Studio One will attend two more competitions in Bendigo next month.

A troupe of 10 girls will compete in the under 13 song and dance section for the first time.

Deni will also have a troupe of seven girls competing in the under 13 jazz troupe and eight girls will compete as soloists.
