ROCHESTER residents interested in being part of the production and creative team for Echuca-Moama Theatre Company’s 2018 production of Phantom of the Opera are encouraged to attend an information night on Monday, June 26.

Secretary Lesley Summers stressed that this session was not for interested cast members.

‘‘We are advertising roles such as director, assistant director, musical director, choreographer and production manager and letting people know what our expectations are,’’ she said.

‘‘Because Phantom is such a huge project with big money involved, we need the right people.

‘‘It will be like applying for a job and the committee will be appointing the roles.

‘‘We also need to get the directors and production team together now so we can start planning and doing auditions by the end of October and maybe start working with the leads in November.’’

Mrs Summers said Phantom of the Opera would be EMTC’s biggest production, followed closely by Les Miserables.

The information night will be held from 7pm to 9pm at ‘The Shed’ in Simmie St, near Campaspe Park Raceway.
