ST JOHN’S church was alive with the sound of music when Orchestra Victoria came to town.
Despite the chilly winter weather, 45 people enjoyed the chamber music program presented by four orchestra members.
The orchestra has been playing a series of concerts in the district and featured a harpist, a violinist and two flautists.
Mudbrick Motley Theatre Group’s Maree Hingston said the cosy church hall was a perfect venue for the performance
“The audience was entranced by the musicians’ performance, which was accompanied by delightful stories about each work,” she said.
“There was also an enlightening explanation of the harp and its components.
“We were fortunate to attend a professional and delightful classical concert in our town and I look forward to attending again.”
