Local councils and not-for-profit groups are encouraged to apply for funding through the 2017 Community Building Partnership (CBP) program.
CBP grants are available annually for community infrastructure projects that deliver positive social, environmental and recreational outcomes.
NSW Member for Murray Adrian Piccoli said through the program the state government ensures funding is available to support organisations that ‘‘think first and foremost about the needs of locals’’.
He said local sports clubs, charities and men’s sheds are just some of the groups that can benefit.
Applications close tomorrow. Go to www.communitybuildingpartnership.nsw.gov.au for more.
