Deniliquin Multicultural Group’s second monthly international cuisine night was again a success.
Held on Friday, this month’s dinner had Peruvian food on the menu, prepared by members of the Multicultural Group and served at the Deniliquin Club in George St.
The buffet dinner included stuffed potatoes, white rice with vegetables and Peruvian northern beef brewed beans with bacon.
Group member Martin Wilmshurst said the dinners will continue on the first Friday of every month.
‘‘The night was very successful with a big turnout,’’ he said.
‘‘The Peruvian dishes proved to be a popular choice as all the food went.
‘‘Next month’s cuisine is likely to feature Nepalese curry, which I expect will be another popular choice.’’
