Several district Rotary Clubs attended an information session on GV Health's redevelopment recently.

More than 100 Rotarians from across the district came together last month to hear about the new Goulburn Valley Health redevelopment at the Shepparton site.

Shepparton South, Shepparton, Shepparton Central, Mooroopna, Tatura and Kyabram Rotary Clubs heard from GV Health chief executive Trevor Saunders and infrastructure executive director Sandy Chamberlin.

Shepparton Central Rotary Club past president Wayne Chambers said it was great to have the opportunity to meet other Rotarians from surrounding clubs and the presentation was ‘‘most informative’’.

‘‘The number and relevance of the questions showed that the Rotary members were enthusiastic about the benefits of the hospital project to our community,’’ he said.

The architect for the build, Matthew Hughes, also presented the design of the buildings, with the concepts revealing what the hospital will look like after Stage 1 complete.

Questions were then taken from the audience and answered by the panel which included clinical operations executive director Donna Sherringham.
