John Lane presented a cheque for $3741 to the Amaroo Aged Care Auxiliary last week.
The cheque represented the proceeds of a competition held on the 50th birthday celebrations of Dawmac Industries.
The auxiliary is extremely grateful to John, Wendy, Paul and Trent and staff of Dawmac for their generosity.
The money raised will be used for Vital Sign Monitors for the residents of Amaroo. Dawmac and the Amaroo Auxiliary also wish to thank the community for their support that day.

Congratulations to Tahlia Thomson who last week was named school captain for St Paul’s Walla Walla for 2018.
Interesting to note that Tahlia and brother Bailey were school captains at the public school and Bailey was also school captain of Walla Walla. Parents John and Sonia are extremely proud.
Well done to Tahlia and also happy birthday for last week.
Tahlia Thomson will shave her head to raise funds for the Albury-Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre, at The Stump at 11am on the Thursday of the Henty Field Days.
Tahlia has already raised $3800 and aims to get to her goal of $5000.
If you have not donated and wish to, call into Thomson’s Service Centre and see her mum Sonia.
Last Wednesday St Columba’s put on their annual production ‘The Adventure of Captain Starblaster’. It was wonderful with all the students participating.
A special mention to Helen and Malcolm Dickie who bring out the best of our young students.
Mrs Dickie is also helping with the Berrigan Public School play — ‘Zombeo and Juliet the Musical’ — to be held Wednesday, September 20 at 10.30am and 7pm.
Admission is $5 for adults, $10 for families and a gold coin for pensioners. Children are free.
