The winning table at the Rotary Club of Seymour’s annual trivia night.

St Mary’s hall recently buzzed to the sound of the Rotary Club of Seymour’s annual trivia night, which challenged minds from all walks of the community.

Players filled 20 tables to compete with each other for the coveted winning prize of vouchers from a well-known take-away food outlet, but more importantly to gain the satisfaction associated with having the best minds in Seymour.

Quizmaster Ian Moore led those in the room through their paces, posing questions about general knowledge, music, films and both well-known and lesser known celebrities.

There were also door prizes to be won, loud and silent auctions and the suspense filled corners game which was won by Rotarian Cathy Gourbault-Lawrence. Her prize was tickets to see the musical Aladdin.

The fun night raised thousands of dollars for distribution to local community and Rotary international projects.
