Sun shining for round 10 of series

September 15, 2017

Bryson Lloyd and Class D winner Neil Goudie raised some dust at the course on Sunday.

Deniliquin Sporting Car Club held round 10 of its Autocourse series on a glorious warm spring day on Sunday.

After six runs the provisional results from the day were as follows:

Class A - Tony Fox (Red Pulsar), Class B - John Londrigan (Magna), Class D - Neil Goudie (Mitsi Evo), Class E - Ron Keating (Datsun 280Z), Class J - Leith Buchanan (Lancer Turbo).

The DSCC season will continue on Saturday, October 28 for round 11 of the Autocourse series.

The coming months will be quite busy for the DSCC, with plenty of upcoming events for the club.

The DSCC have again been given the honour to organise and run the National Circle Work Championship at the Deni Ute Muster, along with the Go to Wo and Barrel Races events.

On Sunday, October 8, the club will hold its annual Bathurst Day at the DSCC clubrooms in Larcombe Lane, just past the Race Club.

There’ll be plenty of Bathurst banter and refreshments as you watch and cheer on your favourite driver and or team.

A barbecue will be held during day, and with air conditioned clubrooms, a big screen inside and new TVs on the verandah, it’s the ideal place to watch the endurance race.

The following weekend the club will compete in the Aroca 12 hour Regularity Weekend at Winton Raceway on Saturday and Sunday, October 14 and 15.

It will be a full weekend of track work, with five hours on Saturday and seven hours on Sunday with two DSCC teams competing.

There are still plenty of spots for helpers over the two days.
