THE recent Henley Friends High Tea was a smash hit, with $1,900 raised.
A crowd of 60 locals attended for a day of endlessly flowing tea and coffee and a costume jewellery sale.
Not to mention live music, a raffle and a lucky door prize.
Henley Friends’ Win Crilly said she was blown away by the success of the event.
“People were buying raffle tickets like they were going out of style,” she said.
“Everybody loved the musician, who was from Euroa and had a beautiful voice.
“It was a great day all round. I’m still getting accolades about it on the street.
“We’ll be back again next year.”
