Campaspe about to turn white
IT IS time to turn shop fronts in Campaspe Shire white.
Campaspe Shire Council are urging schools and businesses to turn their shop fronts white to make a stand on violence against women.
The Campaspe In White competition is officially open and aims to unite the community on the issue.
Participating businesses are encouraged to register with the shire by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once registered you can upload images of your shop fronts to social media with the hashtag #campaspeinwhite and tagging @campaspeshire and @riverineherald
The competition will finish with Wear White to Work Day on Friday, November 24.
All businesses are encouraged to wear white on the day and bring a gold coin donation for White Ribbon Day.
A free morning tea will be held from 11am at the Echuca Civic Centre.
To be in the running for advertising packages in the Riverine Herald, Campaspe News and Kyabram Free Press you must register before Monday, November 20.
