Corowa Dimmeys staff have been turning lots of heads this week but for a good cause.
Mohawk hairstyles were the order of the day on Monday, while they went back to the ‘80s on Wednesday.
The staff have jumped on board the Greatest Shave for a Cure fundraising bandwagon as Dimmeys stores across the nation simultaneously raise funds for cancer.
They will continue with the crazy hairstyles until Friday.
“It’s all a bit of fun – people have said we are pretty brave,” Corowa Dimmeys Store Manager Emily Brown said.
“It took about 20 minutes to colour my hair and get it up like this,” she said.
“We encourage people to come on down, check out our hair, and make a donation.”
Ben Kubala, another member of staff, had been asked many times about the secret to get his hair to stand on end and was happy to share it with the Free Press.
“I have used four hair products – wax, hairspray, gel and shaving cream,” he said.
“Shaving cream is what makes the hair go rock hard.”
Those who would like to donate to the cause can visit Dimmeys on Facebook or drop into the Corowa store in Sanger Street.
