The people of Australia have spoken. If you’re currently living in Corowa then you’re making the right choice.

Corowa has officially earned itself a position in the top 10 biggest hot spots for families across all of New South Wales.

A survey was conducted by Rent - a website dedicated to rental properties that delivers a single marketplace for renters, agents and landlords - which resulted in almost 57,000 reviews of individual Australian suburbs.

Renters were asked to rate their suburb on a range of different features, from public transport accessibility to good cafes, restaurants and safe family environments.

Corowa is, according to the experts, the ninth best town for families out of 3,772 New South Wales-based suburbs.

It’s an enormous and surprising feat according to Crackerjack Real Estate Managing Partner Allen Bartlett, who told The Free Press he has seen a spike in interest surrounding Corowa lately.

“Simply, there has been more action, movement wise over the past six months. More people are looking to purchase in Corowa at the moment,” Mr Bartlett told The Free Press.

“There is honestly a lack of range of homes to suit buyers that are currently looking here.

“A lot of people consider Corowa to be one of Australia’s best kept secrets. We are surrounded here by substantial towns, we have the river right here … it’s the perfect spot.

“For the size of the town, there is also a really good amount of employment.”

Below is a list of the top 10 New South Wales hotspots for families:

1. Wahroonga

2. Katoomba

3. Bella Vista

4. Blayney

5. Glen Alpine

6. Hornsby Heights

7. Rydalmere

8. Booragul

9. Corowa

10. Eschol Park
