Winton Motor Raceway is set to host round three of the 2018 CAMS Victorian State Circuit Racing Championships this weekend.
More than 45 Hyundai Excels and 34 Improved Production cars are set to take to the track, with smaller fields of Formula Fords, Formula Ford 1600s and Formula Vees also expected.
The Northern Victorian Circuit has a program with a variety from the Victorian State Race Series Groups with support from Victoria’s finest championship categories.
Benalla has always been home to Holdens and this weekend will be no different with a small field of HQ’s battling it out for championship glory.
Fifteen-year-old track star Jaylyn Robotham will be the one to catch in the Excels after last month adding a Phillip Island Lap Record to his existing Sandown and Winton Records.
The event will kick off at 8.30am until 4.30pm, with qualifying Saturday morning and racing continuing into Sunday.
Adult weekend passes for the event are $30, while kids under 16 are free as well as admission to the paddock and garage areas.
The event will run from June 16 to 17.
