Nativity play a great start to presentation night

By Southern Riverina News

St Columba’s students celebrated 2018 at a presentation night shared with staff, family and friends.

The evening began with the students performing a short musical — ‘The Aussie Nativity Story’.

Principal Damien Taylor made a small presentation to Jenny Congdon from the Berrigan Library thanking her for the wonderful effort she makes for the school’s weekly visits to the Berrigan Town Library.

The parent council also presented each of the children with a book celebrating their year, and the Berrigan Red Cross Branch and Berrigan CWA presented the school with books for the school library.

Fr Rick Mcallef addressed the gathering prior to the official awards and all enjoyed a supper at the conclusion of the night.
