YOU can imagine Greg Gilmore’s surprise when he got back to his hotel room and saw this photo on his phone.
It was one of many snaps he’d taken at Tyne Cot War Cemetery in Belgium when he was there in April.
“I believe it’s the biggest Commonwealth war cemetery with 12,000 buried, 4000 of them named,” he said.
“There’s a wall there that would be as long as a football ground with names of unburied men. It’s quiet and tranquil, with an eerie feeling.
“You just know there was a lot of death there. I took a series of photos here on my phone with one of them being the headless one, it was only that night when I was looking through them I noticed it.”
