Tat Chat: Rotary Club goes back to school
Following an informative talk at the Rotary Club of Tatura on Wednesday night by Tatura Primary School Principal Susanne Gill, the club members were invited to look over the new school.
The two-person Ambrose competition on Saturday was sponsored by Brendan Spittles who provided trophies for winners, place-getters and a range of novelty events. In addition, there was a card draw at presentations with the winners offered a one-night stay-and-play at Corowa Golf Club, accommodation, golf, drinks and meals provided. Of course, you had to be present and two pairs missed the opportunity by leaving early.
Firefighters have been celebrated in their efforts to contain a bushfire in Euroa, which burnt about 350 ha and threatened the township.
Hundreds of people are currently without power in Mooroopna, Ardmona, Tatura and surrounds.
