Fans of this year's yarnbombing might well have spotted some extra installations away from Bridge St if they ventured past Cooinda and Morrie Evans aged Care.
Residents at both aged care facilities took time out to knit and crochet various items to display in their respective grounds.
Morrie Evans aged care patient services assistant Elaine Cotton said the residents took part as part of a day project.
“We have taken part in previous years,” she said.
“And there was lots of organising of the knitted the flowers, and a couple of ladies did do some sewing.
“They enjoyed taking part and are very happy with how it looks.”
Residents at Cooinda also enjoyed taking part and residents and staff at both facilities recommend people take a drive past to enjoy the fruits of their labour.
