She has only just started work in Corowa but Dr Grace Ukich loves her new working environment at the Corowa Medical Centre.

It’s the regional lifestyle she likes, especially having lived in nearby Barooga, attended secondary schooling in Shepparton and completing her internship in Wollongong after graduating at the University of NSW Sydney.

“I know people in Corowa and I’ve settled in well,” she told The Free Press.    .

Dr Ukich, who started work in Corowa on Monday, February 3, lists her interests as sewing, crocheting, music, and art and craft.

“We welcome Dr Ukich to our clinic. We’re excited to have her here,” Corowa Medical Centre Practice Manager Kristen Mann said.

“We now have 11 doctors and still want to recruit more.”
