Rutherglen ready for season 2019/20

Rutherglen has appointed experienced Cricket Albury Wodonga player Steve Jenning as coach for the WDCA 2019/20 season. 

Winning the B Grade last season Rutherglen has been promoted to A Reserve for the 2019/20 season and is looking forward to an exciting season ahead.  

The season commences this Saturday, October 12 with a home match against Greta.  

C Grade commences on Saturday, October 19 with a home match against Milawa.  

For those interested in playing this season please come along to training Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 5pm at Barkly Park.

Junior Cricket

Rutherglen will field an Under 14 team and two Under 12 teams in the WDCA this season. Under 14s commence this Saturday, October 12 with training on Tuesday and Thursday at Barkly Park from 4:30pm.

Under 12s commence on Saturday, October 19 with training held on Wednesday at 4:30pm at Barkly Park.  All matches are played on Saturday morning.  

Woolworths Master Blasters

An introductory program for children aged 5-8 to be held on Thursday’s from 4:30pm-5:45pm. All participants receive a pack including a shirt and cricket bat, a great introduction to team sports with qualified coaches commencing October 24.

Social Sixers Cricket  

The Social Sixers is a skills based fitness session for the ladies.  The session is planned for Thursday afternoons, commencing on October 24, which will run in conjunction with Cricket Victoria.
