Adam Scott snaps PGA Tour title drought

By AAP Newswire

Adam Scott has ended a near four-year title drought on the US PGA Tour with a two-shot victory at the Genesis Invitational in Los Angeles.

Scott began the final round of the event in a share of the lead and a Sunday 70 gave him an 11-under-par (273) total, with Sung Kang (69), Scott Brown (68) and Matt Kuchar (72) tied for second.

Scott's 14th title on the US Tour, and second at Riviera, puts him equal with Bruce Crampton with the third most by an Australian, behind Greg Norman (20) and Jim Ferrier (18).
